hi, how are you all?
i had a spell of anxiety when i found out that the medical assessments for benefits are being made even tougher. but i’ve calmed down now. there is nothing i can do about it. whatever will be, will be.
i defrosted and cleaned the fridge yesterday and did some washing and put some more press kits for my book Dreams of Death together and in envelopes.
i promised my son i would go over to his and help him catch up on some housework today. he has been working constantly to get the nursery ready for the baby due on 7th march and routine household jobs have fallen behind.
my dil is really tired after work as a primary school teacher and has an achy stomach so he is trying to persuade her to rest as much as possible, not that she listens lol.
i had the most touching things written about me by my friend alisha in her blog, theinvisiblef. where she talks about living with fibromyalgia and depression and other things of interest.
i was very pleased to see that colin morgan (merlin) won a prize at the television awards. very well deserved i think. it must be a smashing feeling to have such success so early in his career.
it is my 52nd birthday on monday so i have ordered some treats with my groceries- marmalade so i can have toast and marmalade for breakfast which i love but wouldn’t usually eat because of my weight. cucumber to go with ham and mustard or tuna and mayonnaise sandwiches. usually i would have peanut butter or marmite. and mars bar ice creams. yum!
my son and dil are going to take me for a meal in the evening as well so should be a really nice day.
what are your special treats for your birthday? love lynda x
