how was your xmas? i had a nice day. my son and dil came round about 11am to exchange presents. i got miranda hart and david walliams’ autobiographies which i had asked for and also a box of chocs. my twin sister in australia sent me £100 amazon gift voucher, so i will have a lot of fun spending that.

my son and dil came back at 2.30pm and we went to dil’s aunt for xmas dinner. there were thirteen of us and a german shepherd puppy, ten weeks old! we had a lovely dinner. i felt a bit stressed because they all talk at once and i can’t hear what any of them are saying, then they look at me for a response and i have to just smile and nod inanely cos i don’t know what they said. it makes me worry that i seem unsociable. but they are a nice family and it was a good day.

boxing day and thursday i slept all day. i still haven’t watched any of the xmas tv but i have it recorded so have that to look forward to.

do you have any plans for new year? i expect to spend it on my own at home. hope you have a good week, love lynda x
